Fillers

Deeper lines are plumped with Hyaluronic acid fillers because the wrinkles have lost most of the collagen from the depth of the fold. This is why there is a line when the skin is pulled tighter. Hyaluronic acid fillers work by replacing lost collagen, holding water in the gel substrate right where it is placed. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is a part of our skin layer. This means the fillers are compatible with our own skin. It is clear in colour so can be used close to the skin surface if needed there, and is manufactured in various viscosities or densities so that it will function as it is supposed to.

As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin, which is responsible for keeping it hydrated, decreases. The skin dries out, loosens and wrinkles appear. Today, filling products based on hyaluronic acid are an effective choice to treat the aging of facial skin. They are 100% absorbable and well-tolerated by the body.

Botox

Botox is a treatment that many women and men have 3 or 4 times a year. It is a prescription medication used to relax the facial muscles, generally in the upper half of the face. It generally lasts anywhere from 3 to 5 months, depending on muscle strength and blood circulation to the face.

It can also be used under arms or the palms of hands to control excessive sweating. Brides and grooms often consider under the arms treatment as no one wants to spoil their perfect day (or their beautiful clothes) with unsightly dark patches.

Botulinum toxin is a great product in aesthetic medicine. Providing a real radiance boost by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles for several months. Treatment can also help to prevent the effects of aging because putting the muscles to rest prevents further skin breakage. Benefits include a relaxed, calm and rested look with a natural-looking healthy glow.

During treatment the solution is injected directly into the muscle to achieve a specific and a natural-looking effect. The injections cause minimal pain so anaesthesia is not required. There is no downtime: you can return to your daily activities straight after the treatment. Results can be visible 72 hours later although the main effects begin after 10 days. Depending on the patient, results last from three to six months.

Targted to treat expression and frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles. A session lasts approx. 15 minutes. It is advised not to take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication in the days prior to your session (to avoid any bruising). In the 4 hours following treatment you’ll be required to avoid intensive sport and lying down, and the treated area should not be massaged or rubbed for up to 24 hours post-session.
